Camp:

Once a year, a benefit is held to raise funds to send at least 100 of the neediest children currently enrolled in the Sonshine Clubs to Indian Hills summer camp for one week.  Camp costs increase every year; in 2008 the cost is $270 per child.  The children always are so excited to experience camp – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for them. Last year, the camp counselors told Ms. Mari that our campers were the most enthusiastic and well-behaved of all the campers!  What a joy to see them singing around the campfire, laughing and eating like there would be no more food tomorrow.  Then crying as they say goodbye, hoping they’ll get to come back next summer.
