Smiles all around as we had a great summer of Life Skills and Camp!
What we offerSonshine Haven provides 500+ elementary and middle school children in 21+ schools in seven school districts in San Diego County with free, faith-based after school clubs. We also offer free Life Skills classes, Thanksgiving-in-a-Box and Christmas Adopt-a-Family to help our club kids and their families in need. We enjoy offering an overnight camp experience to our club kids in the summer at Indian Hills Camp.
Sonshine & Youth Venture Bible Clubs
If you would like to volunteer 2 hours a week to help bring Jesus to kids in East County, contact us!
We need 3-4 adults on each Sonshine/ Youth Venture Bible Club team.

Holiday Programs

We have several ways you can help:
Thanksgiving in a box program:
- Donate items for boxes
- Donate a whole box of food items
Both options help feed families this Thanksgiving.
(Donation list will be posted in September)
Volunteer oppurtunities
- Volunteer to help sort food coming in from our food drives.
- Assist families in adding extra items to their box and loading everything in their car.
Contact Sonshine Haven in September for dates and times
Christmas Adopt A Family
- Buy items like jackets, shoes or blankets
- Shop for one or more Sonshine Club child and or siblings
Family Needs' Worksheets available beginning early November
Any help will make Christmas special for our Sonshine Club families.
